Sidequests

Introduction

Hidden within the game are multiple sidequests that grant you unique rewards, such as Soul Puppet unlocks and rare key items that enhance your abilities.

Missed Sidequests

If you have missed a sidequest while playing through the story, it is possible to go back to Episodes you have previously completed at the end of each one. You can read more details about this system right here.

Episode 1 Quests

Gregor's Challenge

Visit Gregor to learn about party building and battle a strong foe toward the end of Episode 1.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 1.

Nocturnal Tournament

Visit Manon to take part in the Nocturnal Tournament after many eggs are painted to destruction.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 1.

Magically Painted

Visit Poptin and help him replenish his magical paint supply toward the end of Episode 1.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 1.

Orion's Secret Fetish

Meet with Orion and satisfy his secret fetish.

All 4 segments of this quest close at the end of Episode 1.

The Valkyrie of Victory

Talk to Eva near the end of Episode 1 to learn more about battling the Valkyrie of Victory.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 1.

Episode 2 Quests

A Dangerous Lesson

Visit Gregor to learn about adventuring and battle a powerful foe during Episode 2.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

Lessons in Love

Visit Freya to learn about breeding and battle a disgusting foe during Episode 2.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

Shaky Head Wear

Wells needs help with his future invention, and only you have the patience to aid him!

  1. Visit Wells early in your first journey through Onyx City to help him with his first invention.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

Corn Trouble

Talk to Whiley toward the end of Puppet Nightmares' Episode 2 to begin this quest.

You must complete Orion's Secret Fetish quest before you can participate in this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

What's Your Order?

Meet with Niflheim residents and help Le Chef prepare special meals for them during Episode 2 of Puppet Nightmares.

The following are hints of where and when to encounter all 4 segments:

  1. Visit Estevan when the Devil's Peaks becomes available to start the 1st segment of this quest.
  2. Visit Elizabeth when the Petrified Woods becomes available to start the 2nd segment of this quest.
  3. Visit Richard when the Sewers becomes available to start the 3rd segment of this quest.
  4. Visit Manon when the Dilapidated Temple becomes available to start the 4th segment of this quest.

These quest segments close at the end of Episode 2.

Embers of the Past Part 1

Visit Oswald at the tail end of Episode 2 to help him uncover the mystery of a ghostly boy.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

My Sis That I Miss

Anna wants to recover someone she holds dear. You can solve her riddles in the latter part of Episode 2.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

Lights, Camera, Fashion!

Antonio needs a model and your Soul Puppets are sure to be the best for the job! Go see him after the Devil's Peaks becomes available.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

Sewer Tournament

Visit Manon to take part in the Sewer Tournament during the latter part of Episode 2.

You must clear the previous tournament to access this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

The Valkyrie of Storms

Talk to Eva near the end of Episode 2 to learn more about battling the Valkyrie of Storms.

You must defeat the Valkyrie in the previous Episode first to access this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 2.

Comfortable Seating

Wells needs help with a second invention. You must complete Shaky Head Ware before you can participate in this quest.

  1. Visit Wells early in your journey to Carcass to help him with his second invention.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 3.

The Screams of Youth

Gaycee needs assistance advertising! Visit him toward the beginning of Episode 3 to get started!

This quest closes at the end of Episode 3.

Rattery Physics

Frits Rattery needs help field testing his new invention! Prove yourself worthy by visiting him and testing your scientific mettle shortly after Nikea leaves.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 3.

Culling Cultists

Vitae needs your help to remove the remaining cultists from the Onyx City area. Go see him at the Killing Touch near the beginning of Episode 3 to help him out.

This quest closes when Nikea leaves your party during Episode 3.

Visit Oswald at the tail end of Episode 3 to help him uncover the mystery of a ghostly woman.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 3.

Slave to the Forge

Visit Crimson in Onyx City 2 during Episode 3 to learn how to improve your equipment.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 3.

The Valkyrie of Protection

Talk to Eva near the end of Episode 3 to learn more about battling the Valkyrie of Protection.

You must defeat the Valkyries in the previous Episodes first to access this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 3.

Desert Tournament

Visit Manon to take part in the Desert Tournament during the latter part of Episode 3.

You must clear the previous tournaments to access this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 3.

Episode 4 Quests

Shucks Capacitor

Wells needs help with a third invention. You must complete Comfortable Seating before you can participate in this quest.

  1. Visit Wells during your journey to the Labyrinth to help him with his third invention.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 4.

Spectral Tournament

Visit Manon to take part in the Spectral Tournament during the latter part of Episode 4.

You must clear the previous tournaments to access this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 4.

The Blight Kings

Go see Estevan after recovering Ada.

This quest is unavailable after a wolf joins you.

A Thousand Deaths

Refuse to do as the Toymaker commands before Episode 4 ends.

This quest is unavailable after obeying the Toymaker.

Visit Oswald at the tail end of Episode 4 to help him uncover the mystery of a ghostly man.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 4.

The Valkyrie of Light

Talk to Eva near the end of Episode 4 to learn more about battling the Valkyrie of Light.

You must defeat the Valkyries in the previous Episodes first to access this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 4.

This Thing Blows

Wells needs help with a fourth invention. You must complete Shucks Capacitor before you can participate in this quest.

  1. Visit Wells during your journey to the Fallen Village to help him with his fourth invention.

This quest closes when you complete your business at the Fallen Village during Episode 5.

Embers of the Past Part 4

Visit Oswald before Ada leaves during Episode 5 to help him uncover the mystery of the last ghost.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 5.

Three Valkyries

Talk to Eva near the end of Episode 5 to learn more about battling the Three Valkyries.

You must defeat the Valkyries in the previous Episodes first to access this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 5.

Leri's Vice

Go see Leri in the Fallen Village after collecting items for Bringe in Episode 5 to begin this quest.

This quest closes at the end of Episode 5.

Episode 6 Quests

The Devil that Stole Christmas

Visit Elizabeth just before the NEUTRAL or GOOD ending of Episode 6 to read a special letter during December.

You will need a NAMED Festive Devil LESP to get the most out of this quest.

This quest closes when you complete Episode 6 or December ends.

Hunting Shadows

Ask Mesara if you can speak to the Toymaker in private before the Neutral Ending of Puppet Nightmares.

Owning a NAMED Shadow Seeker LESP can help you skip the item fetching portion of this quest.

You must complete the quests Embers of the Past 1, 2, 3 and 4 in order to access this one.

Relative Madness

Speak to the Toymaker at Mesara's boat to pursue the Good Ending of Puppet Nightmares.

You must complete the quest Hunting Shadows in order to access this one.

Some quests have a limited window of time in which they can be completed. So beware of going any further in the main story until you are finished with each one.
