Of all the curious creatures to tumble into the topsy-turvy clutches of Niflheim, few are quite so fretfully determined as dear Dinah, who adored her Neko Alice so immensely that she leapt after her without a moment’s hesitation. Through labyrinths, oddities, and a number of inconveniences that would make even a polite teapot grumble, Dinah’s devotion worked a strange Wonderland magic of its own—transforming her into a proper cat girl, ears, tail, and all.

Aware that the Red Queen Empusa is in a dreadful fuss over her escaped size-altering sweets (and tends to blame Alice for anything that misbehaves), Neko Dinah prowls bravely through every peril Niflheim dares present. Every step is driven by one simple thought: Neko Alice will certainly need her.

As for what Dinah will do when she finally finds her beloved companion—why, Dinah hasn’t the faintest idea, nor does she bother to wonder. Reunions in Wonderland rarely follow sensible rules. What does matter (and she affirms this with a delighted flick of her tail) is that the two of them shall be together again—an inseparable, adventuring, entirely nonsensical cat-and-catgirl duo.

And of course, once they’ve survived all the chaos and calamity Niflheim can concoct, Dinah fully intends to resume receiving those reassuring pats and scritches she treasures more than any crown or confection.

After all, every loyal cat—whether ordinary or Wonderland-made—deserves a little affection.
